How the story begins
This weekend was kind of sporty. This week I started running again. During the pretty hot day in summer I took I break of running than my knee was kind of broken so I had to stop for a while anyway. But this week I had a kind of sporty week. That is actually pretty nice even that my results in running a the worst ever. But I keep training until I reach my last best time with 12 km/h 🙂
Running – Get in shape again
But as you can see on my little graph below, it took me a long time to get the distance of at least 7k yesterday. I even needed to walk sometimes to get new energy. But in the end as always I’m so glad that I did it. Moreover I only had my Nike 3.0 that I normally use for walking around or I wear them at work because their pretty much comfortable. I’m still waiting for my new running shoes. I ordered them on thursday evening I guess and hopefully I’ll get them in the beginning of the next week.
At the moment my feet hurt really much. I have pleasures 😦 But I keep be focused. Get in shape again to prepare for a long and cold winter where it’s even much harder to exercise.
Balance – Relaxing time
To calm down a little bit I decided spontaneously so have a little “Balance class” at my place. Each monday a friend & colleague of mine is giving a Balance class in my fitness center. Now I tried by myself to do it at home with nice and relaxing music. So 50 minutes a combination of Pilates, Yoga and Tai Chi. That was really great.
To close this sporty week – Here a short sum up
Monday: 50 min Balance class in the evening
Wednesday: 40 min running outside in the morning
Thursday: 60 min playing tennis outside in the evening
Saturday: 55 min running outside in the afternoon
Sunday: 50 min Balance class at home in the evening
For me a successful week. What do you think? No I really need to focus on a weekly basis of sports. A combination of Balance and running seems to me a good start of being mor sportive again.
Now since the weather is getting more autumn like I almost stopped Wakeboarding on Sundays. So back to the roots. (Still waiting for my new running shoes)
