we own the night | RUNNING BY MARIE

It’s already one week ago, but I was totally energyless the last week until yesterday to be honest. But I will tell later about my run yesterday. Here some impressions of my run last friday. To be honest I am a “Nike victim” – It totally love this brand and there is nothing that is better than having a run sponsored by Nike. My company gave us personal trainer for 6 weeks as well and we got a cool “We own the night” shirt by Nike and by my company as well. And the best thing was, that I could enjoyed the whole run by having my best friends around me. All my girls participated in the run and also my boy-friend came around to support us.

Everything felt like a camp only for ladies and the whole atmosphere was to energized. Absolutly great. But of course the 10k wasn’t that easy even when the atmosphere was unbelievable. I was totally banned by the whole energized air that my first 3 kilometers have been way to fast. In the end my time was ok, but I could stay under 55min – that was actually my aim. But it was not able this time.

Yesterday my best friend SO saw that there will be the We own the Night run of Nike in Berlin. I always wanted to take park in a Nike run and now we signed in. It’s so cool, because we will have a preparation phase with two training sessions a week. It’s absolutely amazing – I’m so excited that we will participate. This Monday the training will start. There are 5 weeks left. 24th of May at 8:30 pm Berlin will be crowed by Nike running girls. Nike is so cool, they also have a Nike GEAR UP gadget there you can find your personal running outfit. I love it!

Now I would like to prepare as perfect as possible. Therefore I need to have this great Nike sportswatch. If possible I would like to have it in white. If anyone has already this product please let me know your experience with it. Here a great picture by Nike.

But of course first of all I will participate in my first official run this year: 30. AVON Frauenlauf in Berlin. I already wrote a lot about this event. This will be a great test to see how my personal fitness changed through the last weeks compared with my last run in October 2012. So I will have my first 10k on 4th of May – so in 2 weeks.
